of dinosaurs and long workdays

Some drawings from February.  I work at a chocolate shop, so with Valentine’s Day and all it was a busy month.  I picked up every shift I possibly could.

…it was exhausting.

Oh, and here’s a dinosaur:

If you click on these pictures they’ll appear at full size.  I find livejournal surprisingly difficult to figure out at times; hopefully I can find out a way to eliminate the clicking process.

Your drawings are like you…they smell. It’s Storey if you couldn’t guess.

I admire the appreciation for literality demonstrated by the title of this journal.

Also, the very convincing terrified mouse is emblematic of my current situation in life. More upset rodents for me to identify with, please!

    DINOSAUR!!!!
Oh, I am a little weirded out by opening up my world of bad poetry, sub-par grammar and obsession confessions to you; but I think you can handle it.

…like roses, you mean? I figured it was you, Storey. how are you?

OK, I’ll work on that. But I don’t want your metaphorical self to be a scared rodent. Truthfully I think your metaphorical self is more like Girl.

ok! I’ll get on that. I wanted to draw you in that staff portrait, but alas…

Of course I can handle it…I shall revel in it!

At last I got on the site…a small miracle by itself. The pictures are wonderful as usual. Both Mom and I figured they were your drawings though there was no visible signature. We were able to figure it out because some of the pictures of the young women looked suspiciously like a person we know quite well.
By the way I always thought that Storey kind of smells himself.

Love M and D (by Dad in case you couldn’t figure it out)
